Grilled salmon with pesto and pasta salad

Delicious pasta salad with grilled salmon can be easily prepared in advance.

    • 500 g salmon
    • 4 tbsp pesto
  • For the pasta salad:
    • 100 g pasta per person, preferably fusilli or penne
    • 200 g vegetables (of choice)
    • 1 tsp salt

Instructions: 

  1. Bring a pan of water to the boil for the pasta.
  2. Spread the pesto over the salmon fillets.
  3. Put an aluminium baking tray with the salmon on the BBQ for about 15 minutes until the salmon is ready. You can also prepare the salmon in a pre-heated oven at 200 degrees for about 15 minutes.
  4. Make the pasta salad with your favourite ingredients. Fusilli or penne work well in a pasta salad. Cook according to the instructions on the package. Chop and combine the vegetables of choice, for example, spring onions, mangetout and carrots, which all go well in a pasta salad.
  5. Place the salmon on a plate and season with salt. Serve with the pasta salad.
